The Yuloh
Checking the blueprint and angle measurements the Yuloh is 9’ -4” in length for the Pelican. With the listed dimensions it could also be used for pirate dispatching. It is a brute! I suspect the design is to give enough mass so that the strokes are easier on the Yuloher, Yulohee (sp?). The max angle is 8 degrees so I made it about 7 degrees to be safe. It is also out of Poplar. In case the little dear needs altering or replacement the base material is reasonably priced as well as falling in the category of hard wood that doesn’t split readily as mentioned in the blueprint.
Today also saw the epoxy coat on the bow sprint. Tomorrow I’ll roll the boat and cut the side decks (I already have their template cut out).
